Woolton Drama Group is delighted to present our next production: ‘The Dice House'
A play by Paul Lucas, inspired by Luke Rhinehart's novel ‘The Dice Man'. The Dice House unfolds in a commune run by maverick psychiatrist Dr Ratner where the patients are encouraged to surrender all their decisions to the roll of the dice. When Ratner's rival Dr Drabble hurls one of his own patients into the clinic to kidnap an inmate - his wife - a comic romp of Pythonesque proportions ensues. The Dice House is a glorious glimpse of how insane life could be if determined by the dice - and how ordinary it can be if it isn't!

WDG is an adult group and generally operate on a 16 years+ policy, though exceptions can be made under certain circumstances - typically if accompanied by a responsible adult.
Amateur Hour is a new podcast from WDGers David Jeffery and Paul Arends. It explores the weird and wonderful world of amateur dramatics - the highs and lows, and everything in between.
We'll be speaking to people from all across the country, from groups of all shapes and sizes, finding out what makes them tick, and why we put so much time and effort into entertaining the public.
We want this podcast to bring together the amdram community, no matter how expensive your tickets are, how flashy your sets look, and how good your interval refreshments are.
Nothing is off-topic, so let's take a dive backstage and get on with the show - you can listen below, or by going to Anchor.fm/AmdramPodcast
